The Village of Ashmore's park facilities are available to groups and citizens to reserve for family gatherings, group parties, picnics, meetings, or other events.

Park reservations are free for residents, although donations are always welcome. Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. For additional information or to see if a specific date is available, contact the Village Clerk.

Serenity Corner

For a slower-paced scenic stop, be sure to grab some lunch at the I&I Deli and take it across the street to Serenity Corner. There's no vibrant playground here; just peace and serenity. Enjoy the open air at a picnic table or cozy up in the gazebo while you watch the butterflies bounce from wildflower to wildflower. 

Ashmore Village Park

The largest and oldest park in town, Ashmore Village Park is a great place to let your kids climb on the jungle gym, plan a family gathering, host a birthday party, visit with friends, organize a friendly softball game, stretch your legs, or just sit on the bench and enjoy the day.

A covered pavilion is a great place to host your party or picnic. Park grills, plenty of picnic tables, and restrooms are nearby for your convenience.

Organize a game or basketball or softball and take advantage of our free court/field. Read a book in the shade while your kiddos wear themselves out on the playground. Take a stroll around the ballfield and admire the wildflowers and butterflies along the way.

Stop by between 4:00 - 8:00 on Tuesday evenings in the summer to catch up with your neighbors at the Tasty Tuesdays summer series. (Click here for more info!)

Clean out your junk in September and get rid of it all for free at our annual Recycling Day. (Click here for more info!)

Come back in October and visit the Ashmore Harvest Festival, a small-town festival like no other. (Click here for more info!) Village Park will be host to a majority of the festival activities, including a car show, variety show, Friday night fish fry, Saturday morning pancake & sausage breakfast, kids carnival, cake walk, touch-a-truck, magician, pumpkin painting, softball tournament, bags tournament, chili contest, jerky contest, live music, as well as being the start/stop of the 5k race and parade.
