2025 Water Rate Increase

Starting in January 2025, the Ashmore water rates will increase $0.80 for in-town customers and $1.00 for out-of-town customers.

WINTER WEATHER IS COMING!
NO PARKING ON ASHMORE STREETS:
- No parking is permitted along the streets in Ashmore when accumulation is 2" or greater. Please find alternative parking. Vehicles parked along the streets will be deemed hazardous and will be towed if the owners cannot be reached.
Limited Office Hours June 6-10

Due to low staffing and vacation schedules, the Ashmore Municipal Office will be open for very limited hours during the week of June 6 – 10.
Voicemail messages will be checked frequently; please leave a message at 349-8332.
Water bills may be paid:
• by phone by calling 217-355-4436
• online at https://ashmore.gov/payment-options
• in person, using the drop box on the east side of the office building

Warmer Weather Brings More Yard Work

As the sunny weather draws us out into our yards, we want to encourage our residents and businesses to take pride in how our properties look. It is important to stay on top of lawn growth, landscaping, weeds, volunteer tree saplings, dangerous or inconvenient tree branches, yard furniture and toys, junk & rubbish, etc. Make it a habit to regularly inspect your property for small and large issues that might be unsightly for your neighbors.
